Tempted to start up a ebay "business"

I've bought and sold on eBay before, but now I'm tempted to do it regularly to make a b it of money. There are simply no jobs about, especially in the countryside.

I've been researching things online which I could sell and make a bit of profit, but when you've got hardly any money to put into it (even when starting small) and you have the risk of your items not selling well, i'm worried.

Anyone have any eBay experiences, or ideas as to which items sell well?

  1. I've been doing it for a year so far and it has been working very well. Most of the things I sell is just crap I find around my house. You'll be surprised at what people will buy.

  2. not worth it anymore. The fees are too high plus add in paypal fee plus customers suck. All they have to do is say item not as described and you have no recourse. You cannot give a negative feedback to the buyer. The days of good money on ebay are gone :(
